Golden hill Historic District

Golden Hill is a quiet enclave of 54 varied, distinctive, and exceptional homes; winding narrow village-like roads; green spaces; and forested ravines providing a parklike setting.

It began as an exclusive residential estate that became the home of many influential Indianapolis residents, including industrialist David Parry, as well as the Westerley Estate, once used as the home for the president of the Indianapolis Museum of Art/Newfields. The area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Boundaries: 38th Street (north); 36th Street (south); Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Street (east); White River (west)
